Features and Construction
The V3 navigation lights combine wireless charging capability with waterproof housing to create a versatile lighting accessory for RC models. Their design focuses on practical functionality with multiple operating modes and colour variations to suit different modelling requirements.
Material and Build
The lights feature waterproof construction that makes them suitable for use on RC cars, boats, and fixed-wing aircraft models. This waterproof quality helps protect the internal electronics during outdoor operation or in damp conditions. The housing contains a 3.7V battery with 75mAh capacity and integrated overcharge protection circuitry to help maintain battery performance during charging cycles.
Size and Practical Fit
With dimensions of 43mm by 13mm by 11mm, these navigation lights offer a compact form factor that can be mounted discreetly on various RC models. The small profile helps maintain the model's appearance while adding functional lighting. The package includes eight adhesive backing pieces to facilitate secure mounting on different surfaces and materials commonly found on radio-controlled vehicles and aircraft.
Uses and Placement
The V3 navigation lights serve multiple purposes across different RC modelling disciplines, from improving orientation during flight to increasing visibility in low-light driving conditions. Their versatility makes them suitable for various hobbyist applications.
Event or Professional Use
For RC events or competitive modelling, these navigation lights can help distinguish your model during group operations or races. The different colour options allow for customisation based on event requirements or personal preference. The multiple flashing modes provide visual differentiation that can aid in model identification during crowded events or in poor lighting conditions where visibility is reduced.
Everyday Home Use
For casual hobbyist use, the wireless charging feature offers convenience by eliminating the need for physical charging ports or cables that might compromise the waterproof seal. The lights can enhance the appearance and functionality of RC models during backyard testing or local park operation. Their compact size ensures they don't significantly alter the model's aerodynamics or handling characteristics while adding practical illumination.
Benefits and Buying Value
The V3 navigation lights provide several practical advantages for RC enthusiasts seeking reliable model lighting without complex installation or maintenance requirements. Their design prioritises ease of use and functional performance.
Reuse and Low Maintenance
The wireless charging system allows for repeated use without wear on physical charging connectors, while the waterproof construction reduces concerns about weather exposure. The adhesive mounting system permits repositioning or transfer between different models as needed. With three lights included in the package, users have flexibility in placement configurations across various RC projects.
Why Choose This Product
These navigation lights offer a balanced combination of wireless charging convenience, waterproof protection, and multiple operating modes in a compact package. The availability of different colour options including solid green, red, white, or a combination provides customisation flexibility. The varying battery life across flash modes allows users to select the most appropriate setting based on their runtime needs and visibility requirements.
