This keycap set offers a straightforward way to alter the appearance and tactile profile of your mechanical keyboard. Providing compatibility with several common keyboard layouts, it serves as a simple cosmetic and functional upgrade. The keycaps are made from plastic and come in a choice of three colour variations, allowing for a degree of personalisation. The product dimensions indicate a complete set packaged within a space measuring 20cm by 5cm by 3cm.

Features and Construction

The set's primary function is to replace your keyboard's original keys. Its construction and specifications are defined by the information provided in the source text, focusing on compatibility and material.

Material and Build

The keycaps are confirmed to be made from plastic. This material choice is common for keycap sets due to its mouldability and range of finish options. The source text specifies that certain colour options, namely 'mouse my grey XDA' and 'mouse my yellow XDA', feature the XDA profile, which is a uniform, lower-profile keycap shape.

Size and Practical Fit

The keycap set is designed to fit mechanical keyboards with 68, 75, 98, or 100-key layouts. This covers a range of sizes from compact 68% keyboards to full-size 100% models. The overall product size is given as 20cm in length, 5cm in width, and 3cm in height, which refers to the packaged dimensions of the complete set.

Uses and Placement

These keycaps are intended for users seeking to modify their existing mechanical keyboard. The application is centred on the act of replacement and the resulting visual change.

Event or Professional Use

For users in environments where keyboard distinction is helpful, such as shared workspaces or LAN gaming events, changing keycaps can make a keyboard instantly recognisable. The colour options, including the distinctive 'mouse my yellow XDA', provide a visual marker.

Everyday Home Use

At home, these keycaps allow for personalising a keyboard's aesthetic to match a setup or simply to refresh its look after prolonged use. The compatibility with popular layout sizes means they can suit a primary home office or gaming keyboard.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this product lies in its specific compatibility and the option for visual customisation it provides, based solely on the stated specifications.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

As a replacement part, these keycaps extend the usable life of a keyboard by offering a fresh set of surfaces. Plastic keycaps generally allow for straightforward cleaning with a soft cloth, contributing to low maintenance.

Why Choose This Product

This keycap set is a match for users who own a mechanical keyboard with a 68, 75, 98, or 100-key layout and are looking for an alternative appearance. The choice between three colourways, including two with a uniform XDA profile, provides a clear point of differentiation for buyers making a selection.
