The 6W LED system draws power from the car's standard 12V to 18V supply, providing a low-consumption source of light directly where it is needed. Designed specifically for these Tesla models, it is a plug-and-play upgrade that does not require complex rewiring. You can select from three distinct colour temperatures to suit your preference: Pure White for a bright, modern look, Warm White for a softer, more traditional ambient glow, or Ice Blue for a cooler, contemporary feel.

Features and Construction

The core of this kit is a flexible light bar made from soft silicone, which allows it to be fitted neatly into the contours of the console without the need for rigid brackets or extensive modification. This material choice makes the installation process simpler and reduces the risk of damage to the vehicle's interior trim during fitting.

Material and Build

The use of a soft silicone light bar is a key feature. Silicone is inherently flexible and durable, allowing the strip to bend and conform to the shape of the Tesla's front storage box. This construction means it can be installed with minimal tools and without applying force to the console's plastic panels. The kit utilises what the manufacturer describes as second-generation high-quality LED beads, which are intended to provide reliable and consistent light output for the lifespan of the modification.

Size and Practical Fit

While exact length or width dimensions are not provided, the product is explicitly designed to fit the front storage console area of both the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. This suggests the light bar is cut or formed to an appropriate size for this specific application. The soft silicone material aids in this custom fit, as it can be adjusted slightly during installation to ensure full coverage and avoid gaps or shadows in the illuminated area.

Uses and Placement

This product has a single, clear purpose: to add functional and aesthetic lighting to an otherwise dark storage space in the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. It transforms the front console from a simple storage bin into a more integrated and user-friendly part of the vehicle's cabin environment.

Event or Professional Use

For users who utilise their Tesla for ride-sharing or professional driving, this modification provides a subtle yet practical benefit. It makes locating items in the front console easier for both driver and passengers in low-light conditions, enhancing convenience without being overly bright or distracting. The choice of colour, particularly Pure White or Warm White, can contribute to a clean, professional cabin ambience.

Everyday Home Use

For daily driving and personal use, the light adds a touch of customisation and improves the usability of the vehicle. Finding coins, cables, or sunglasses in the deep console becomes much simpler at night. The three colour options allow owners to personalise their interior lighting scheme, matching it to other ambient lights or simply choosing a tone they find pleasing during evening drives.

Benefits and Buying Value

This is a straightforward modification that addresses a specific need in these popular Tesla models.
