20mm Silicone Sewing Spool Fixing Clips for Thread and Bobbin Storage

These silicone sewing thread shaft fixing clips are small tools designed to keep thread ends from falling off and to make bobbin cores easier to store. The source information lists a 20mm size, 4.2g weight and four colours: red, blue, orange and green. The option list also shows Circle Blue, Green, Orange and Pink, so the chosen colour should be checked before ordering. The pack contains 14 sewing spool fixing clips. They are intended for sewing spool and bobbin core organisation, not for other uses. The material is stated as silicone. No care instructions, waterproof rating, heat resistance or compatibility details are given in the source text.

Features and Construction

The clips are made from silicone and are shaped for holding thread spools and bobbin cores. Their practical value comes from the stated purpose: preventing thread ends from falling off and making bobbin cores easier to store. The 20mm size and 4.2g weight make them small sewing accessories that can sit in a drawer or project bag without taking up much room.

Material and Build

The source text states silicone as the material. Silicone is used here for small fixing clips that grip thread spools and bobbin cores. No further construction details, thickness, hardness or performance data are provided. The clips are supplied in red, blue, orange and green. The option values also include Circle Blue, Green, Orange and Pink, which means the available colour selection may vary by listing choice. The 4.2g weight is given for each clip.

Size and Practical Fit

Each clip is listed as 20mm. That is the only measurement in the source text apart from the 4.2g weight. The size is intended for sewing spools and bobbin cores, but the source does not state a compatible spool diameter or thread type. The compact measurement makes them easy to keep with other sewing notions. Because no fit range is supplied, check the 20mm size against the spools or bobbins you plan to store.

Uses and Placement

These clips are for sewing storage and thread management. They can be used when keeping bobbins in a sewing box, drawer or project bag, and they are described as preventing thread ends from falling off. The source does not mention industrial sewing, machine compatibility or use with other craft materials, so the stated sewing spool and bobbin core purpose should guide use.

Event or Professional Use

For sewing rooms, alterations work or small-scale making, the clips can help keep loose thread ends contained on spools and bobbin cores. The 14-piece pack allows several bobbins or spools to be organised at once. The source does not give a thread length, bobbin capacity or machine compatibility, so these clips should be treated as small storage aids rather than machine parts. No professional certification or workshop rating is stated.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the clips can sit in a sewing tin or drawer with other notions. Their job is to hold thread ends and make bobbin cores easier to store. The 20mm size and 4.2g weight keep them light and small. Colours include red, blue, orange and green, with Circle Blue, Green, Orange and Pink also listed as option values. No care instructions are supplied, so a soft dry wipe is the lowest-risk approach.

Benefits and Buying Value

The practical benefit is tidier storage for thread spools and bobbin cores. The clips are supplied as a 14-piece pack, which means multiple spools or bobbins can be organised without buying single clips. They are made from silicone, as stated, and come in four main colours. No price comparison, durability rating or lifespan is given in the source text, so value should be judged on the stated pack size, function and dimensions.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The source does not give a reuse lifespan or specific maintenance method. As silicone items used for sewing storage, they can be kept with other notions and wiped with a soft dry cloth if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners because no chemical resistance information is provided. The 4.2g weight and 20mm size make them easy to store when not in use. Do not apply heat or force them onto spools beyond their stated purpose.
