Cloth gear shift knob cover measuring 13 x 8 cm for manual and automatic car gearsticks

This gear shift knob hoodie cover provides practical protection for your car's gearstick handle while offering colour customisation options. Made from cloth material with sewing construction, it fits securely over most standard gear knobs regardless of whether your vehicle has manual or automatic transmission. The 13 cm by 8 cm dimensions ensure adequate coverage without excess material, while the sewing craft creates durable seams that withstand regular use. Available in blue, orange, pink, red, black, and white colour variations, this cover serves both protective and aesthetic functions in your vehicle's cabin.

Features and Construction

The gear shift knob cover combines simple construction with practical functionality for daily driving situations. Its design focuses on secure fit and material durability rather than complex features.

Material and Build

Made from cloth fabric, this gear knob cover provides a textured grip surface that can make gear changes more comfortable. The sewing construction joins the material edges securely, creating seams that resist tearing with regular use. This construction method allows the cover to maintain its shape while fitting snugly around various gear knob designs. The cloth material also accepts colour dyes effectively, resulting in the available blue, orange, pink, red, black, and white options.

Size and Practical Fit

Measuring 13 cm by 8 cm, this gear shift cover provides enough material to fully envelop most standard car gear knobs. The dimensions accommodate typical gearstick handle sizes while leaving sufficient material for the sewing construction. This size ensures the cover doesn't slip during gear changes while maintaining a streamlined appearance. The fit works with both manual transmission gear knobs that require frequent shifting and automatic transmission gear selectors that see less movement but benefit from the same protective coverage.

Uses and Placement

This gear knob cover serves protective and aesthetic purposes in various driving contexts, from daily commuting to longer journeys.

Event or Professional Use

For vehicles used in car shows, promotional events, or professional driving situations, the colour options allow coordination with branding or event themes. The cloth material provides a cleaner appearance than worn or scratched original gear knobs, which can be particularly relevant for demonstration vehicles or cars used in client transportation. The protection aspect becomes valuable when multiple drivers use the same vehicle, as the cover absorbs wear that would otherwise affect the original gear knob finish.

Everyday Home Use

In daily driving situations, this gear shift knob cover protects the original gearstick from gradual wear caused by regular hand contact. The cloth material can make the gear knob more comfortable to grip, especially during temperature extremes when metal or plastic knobs become uncomfortably hot or cold. The colour options allow personalisation of the vehicle's interior without permanent modifications, making it suitable for leased vehicles or cars where owners prefer reversible customisation. The cover's simple installation means it can be added or removed as preferences change.

Benefits and Buying Value

This gear knob cover offers practical advantages through its protective function and customisation possibilities.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The cloth construction allows for cleaning if the cover becomes soiled, extending its usable lifespan compared to single-use alternatives. When not in use, the cover can be stored flat without taking significant space in your vehicle or home. The sewing construction maintains integrity through installation and removal cycles, supporting reuse across different vehicles if gear knob sizes are compatible. This reusability adds value compared to permanent modifications that cannot be transferred between vehicles.

Why Choose This Product

This gear shift knob cover provides measurable protection for your vehicle's gearstick handle at the specified 13 x 8 cm dimensions. The cloth material offers practical advantages over harder materials by providing grip and temperature insulation. Compatibility with both manual and automatic transmissions makes it suitable for most passenger vehicles regardless of transmission type. The multiple colour options including blue, orange, pink, red, black, and white allow matching with existing interior colours or creating deliberate contrasts for visual interest.
