Wear-resistant Corrugated Paper Cat Scratch Board Nest Oval 55cm Green Purple

This cat scratch board offers a practical solution to protect your home furnishings from unwanted claw marks. Crafted from corrugated paper, it provides a textured surface that appeals to a cat's instinct to scratch. The oval design, with a 55cm diameter, gives your cat a generous area to stretch and scratch, while also serving as a comfortable nest for lounging and napping. The simple, uncomplicated style means it blends discreetly into your living space, available in either a green or purple colour finish.

Features and Construction

The product is built around a single, functional material that prioritises your cat's natural behaviours. Its straightforward design ensures ease of use and maintenance.

Material and Build

The entire scratch board is made from corrugated paper, a material specifically chosen for its texture and appeal to cats. This construction allows for satisfying scratching that helps maintain claw health. The simple build means there are no complex parts to assemble, and the board is lightweight enough to move between rooms.

Size and Practical Fit

Measuring 55cm in diameter, the oval shape provides a generous area for both scratching and resting. This size is suitable for most domestic cats, offering enough room to stretch out while staying compact enough to fit in corners or alongside furniture. The simple aesthetic helps it match a range of home decor styles.

Uses and Placement

This versatile product serves two main functions, making it a practical addition to any cat-owning household. Its design encourages regular use in key areas of the home.

Event or Professional Use

This scratch board is ideal for use in catteries, pet boarding facilities, or veterinary waiting rooms. Its disposable or replaceable nature makes it a hygienic option for environments where multiple cats may use the same equipment. The simple design also makes it a low-cost addition for animal shelters.

Everyday Home Use

Place the board in a living room, hallway, or bedroom where your cat already shows scratching interest. The corrugated paper surface redirects scratching from sofas, curtains, and carpets. As a nest, it offers a quiet, comfortable spot for your cat to rest, keeping them content and reducing the likelihood of destructive behaviour elsewhere.

Benefits and Buying Value

The primary benefit of this product is its straightforward functionality. It addresses a core feline need while being easy to maintain and replace.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The corrugated paper board requires no special cleaning or upkeep. When the surface becomes worn after extended use, it can be simply replaced with a new board. This low-maintenance approach saves time and effort compared to cleaning upholstery or replacing furniture.

Why Choose This Product

This cat scratch board offers a focused solution for a common pet owner problem. Its oval 55cm size, corrugated paper material, and simple colour options provide a functional tool that encourages healthy scratching habits. It serves a dual purpose as a scratch board and a nest, offering value without unnecessary complexity.
